Montana Vision Trip - East Central

Montana presents a unique and compelling mission opportunity. With a population of just over one million people and less than 6% identifying as evangelical believers, it remains one of the most spiritually unreached states in the nation. There are only about 119 Southern Baptist churches—roughly one for every 1,235 square miles—serving vast and often isolated communities. Many pastors face the challenges of small congregations, limited resources, and the weight of ministering in areas marked by high transience, growing costs of living, and deep social needs. A mission trip to Montana allows teams to come alongside these pastors and churches to strengthen their gospel witness through community outreach, church revitalization projects, and encouragement to local leaders. Whether serving in towns like Livingston, Butte, or across the Crow Reservation, each trip provides the chance to make a tangible impact in one of the most spiritually needy regions of North America.
This Vision Trip is open exclusively to MBC pastors interested in exploring partnership opportunities with churches and ministries of the Montana Southern Baptist Convention (MTSBC). 
The listed financial requirement is an estimated amount and will be finalized once airfare is purchased. The total reflects a partial scholarship provided by the Missouri Baptist Convention (MBC) to assist pastors in exploring future partnership opportunities.
